I’ve blogged in the past with little focus. Now I’m trying something new, a blog with a focus on self-optimization. Over the last few years, I’ve developed an interest in the topic. Previous to that, I was existing in an unhealthy and non-optimized state.
I will disclose that I have followed a ketogenic diet on and off since the start of 2016. Therefore, a majority of what I’ll write will center around topics, opinions, and ideas that are related to nutritional ketosis. Primarily, I want to chronicle my personal observations from following this way of eating.
Additionally, I have plans to start a Zero Carb (or Carnivore) Diet by the end of this year or the start of the next. So you can expect that I’ll delve more into that topic over time.
Aside from diet, I have an interest in biohacking and other forms of optimizing my body and/or mind. I like minimalism, open water swimming in relatively cold conditions, and yoga (although I’m not able to practice right now due to injury). So, I hope that other topics will make appearances and this won’t be ‘just another keto blog’.
Please don’t expect recipes or food diaries here. I probably won’t even go into the basics of what keto is or how to do it. There are many, many sites dedicated to this topic (here are a few of my favorites). This site will just be a place for me to share first-hand experience and ideas.
